GARDENING, "DEATH" & RESURRECTION, Part 3

In his book, Cosmic Memory, Dr. Rudolf Steiner is quite clear that a sophisticated knowledge of agriculture existed hundreds of thousands of years ago on Atlantis. Atlantis was the civilization that preceded our own and is the civilization from which Noah emerged after the Great Flood. In speaking about Atlantean agriculture Steiner says the following:
"the Atlanteans could control what one calls the life force. As we extract the energy of heat from coal and transform it into power, the Atlanteans knew how to put the germinal energy of organisms into the service of their technology. In a seed there is a dormant energy. This energy causes the stalk to sprout. Modern man cannot awaken this energy, only nature. The Atlantean could awaken this energy. He knew how one can change the energy in a pile of grain into technical power Plants were cultivated in Atlantis, not only as food, but also to make the energies dormant in them available to commerce and industry The Atlanteans had mechanisms in which they- so to speak -burned plant seeds in which the life force was transformed into technically utilizable power. The vehicles of the Atlanteans, which floated above ground were moved in this way."
From the above it is obvious that pre-Flood humanity had a sophisticated science of agriculture. Steiner is not the only source to say this. The American psychic Edgar Cayce, whose "readings" are chronicled at the Association for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach, VA says the following in his son's book, Edgar Cayce in Atlantis:
"We find that in those periods (Atlantean) there was not a laboring for the sustenance of life they (people) were served by automations, or things, that were retained to do the labors of a household or to cultivate the fields (manual labor), or to perform the activities of artisans. And it was concerning these things about which much of the disturbing forces grew to be factors to be reckoned with
The life existence of the entity (person), compared to the present, would be years instead of weeks; or in that experience , to live five to six to seven hundred years was no more than to live to fifty, sixty, or seventy years in the present."
If we take the conscious clairvoyant Rudolf Steiner's work on Atlantis and add to it that of the sleeping clairvoyant Edgar Cayce, we have a far greater understanding of the following statement Steiner makes in "An Outline of Esoteric Science", and the forces the biodynamic agriculture science utilizes to produce superior food. The Atlanteans abused the mysteries of nature that create the different forms of life on earth. This led to the Great Flood in the Bible:
"Toward the middle of the Atlantean period of evolution a great evil gradually began to manifest itself within mankind. The mysteries of the initiates ought to have been carefully guarded from individuals who had not purified their astral bodies of error through preparation. When such human beings acquire a certain insight into mystery knowledge, into the laws by which the higher beings guide the forces of nature, they then place these laws at the service of their perverted needs and passions. The danger was all the greater, since human beings, as already described, came into the realm of lower spiritual beings who, unable to carry out the regular Earth evolution, acted contrary to it. These spiritual beings influenced human beings constantly by arousing in them interests that were, in truth, directed against the welfare of mankind. But human beings had still the ability to use the forces of growth and reproduction of animal and human nature for their own purposes. Not only ordinary human beings, but also a number of initiates succumbed to the temptations of lower spiritual beings. They went so far as to use the described supersensible forces in a way that ran counter to the development of mankind, and for this activity they sought associates who were not initiated and who - for lower ends - seized upon the mysteries of the supersensible working of nature. The consequence was a great corruption of mankind. The evil spread further and further, and since the forces of growth and reproduction, when diverted from their natural functions and used independently, stand in a mysterious connection with certain forces that work in air and water, mighty, destructive nature forces were unfettered by human deeds. This led to the gradual destruction of the Atlantean region through terrestrial catastrophes of air and water. The Atlantean humanity - insofar as it did not perish in the storms - was compelled to emigrate. At that time the earth received through these storms a new face. On the one side, Europe, Asia and Africa received gradually the shapes they bear today. On the other side, America. To these lands went great migrations."
We were misusing the agricultural science given to us by the angels to breed animal-human slaves. Creating plants like the Selke Biodynamic Cherry Tomato pictured below is what an advanced science is supposed to do.
